El Pinsapo Goat Cheese Wedge
El Pinsapo Goat Wedge
Agasur was born three decades ago as a cooperative company merging the efforts of a group of goat's milk producers. Nowadays the partnership reaches nearly 200 farmers run state-of-the-art cheese making facilities, mainly devoted to pure goat's milk cheeses production. There are many cheese producers that buy milk. This cheese is not from bought milk. I think it is very hard for a company to control quality if they don't own the goats and feed as well as milk them. This company has won many awards in Spain and at the World Cheese Championships in London.
Regarding the flavor of this cheese, it is creamy with a bite at the end that is not overly powerful. It is a very harmonious taste that will please those that like stronger cheeses but it is not too strong to "turn off" those that like a milder cheese. This goat cheese is the best selling cheese that we have carried so far. There is a two wedge minimum when ordering wedges of this cheese. Wrap this cheese with our jamon or wrap and anchovy around it.
Add $3.00 to the cost of this cheese for the insulated box and ice packs.
